The League of Extraordinary Seniors

Do you know an extraordinary senior from amongst your friends,
family and acquaintances?
Someone who has gone beyond the normal to help the community?
We are looking for Extraordinary Seniors from amongst us –
who have done gamechanging work in society.

Every month, Seniors Today will honour one such Extraordinary
Senior to join its League of Senior Citizens. You can email us the

nomination and add your phone number or email address as well as
the contact details of your nominee – if you have them. If you don’t
know the person personally, send us more info on her/him, a news
clipping or screenshot of a mention on the internet/social media, and
leave the rest of us.

Our editorial team will first go through all entries and pick the
eligible ones for our jury to peruse. We will have a five-member
jury going through all the entries to finalise on who will be the

Extraordinary Senior Citizen of the Month.

Rules for Nomination
1. The Nominee must be over the age of 60
2. Should be a resident of India

The Award
Every month, we will have one individual joining the League of
Senior Citizens. Each month, the chosen winner and the entrant to
the Seniors Today League of Senior Citizens will receive a cash prize
of Rs 10,000 and a citation.

At the end of the year, we will have a grand prize of the Senior
Citizen of the Year 2020, the announcement to which we will make
in December 2020.

Last Date
Last date for receipt of entries for the February 2020 Award for
Seniors Today League of Senior Citizens is January 28, 2020. Please
