described 2023, as a year

Encouraged that the group overcame

interests, Adani said the conglomerate
emerged from this tumultuous period in a
“position of unprecedented strength.”
The Adani portfolio companies
experienced a remarkable surge in
operating income, reaching over ₹ 43,000
crore, a record-breaking 47% increase in
the first half of FY24.
Looking ahead, the Adani group has
ambitious plans to invest a staggering
$100 billion over the next decade, with a
focus on shifting towards clean energy.
Clearly Adani has emerged as the biggest
winner despite huge setbacks in early
2023. Adani’s achievements and meteoric
rise have been written about a fair bit. But
