Damaraland is home to a variety of desert
adapted wildlife including the elusive
desert adapted elephants. The following
day saw us hunting for them on the dry
river beds. The desert adapted elephants
are physically the same as other elephants
but have behaviorally adapted to the Baboons Watching Us Lunch
