                                                             Next to the Narasimha statue you find a
                                                            Shivlinga which stands in water. It is about 3
                                                            metres in height carved from a single stone.
                                                            The sanctum has no ceiling and the lingam is
                                                            constantly immersed in a bed of water. This is
                                                            because a canal from the river passes through
                                                            the temple.






         As you enter the complex, you see the iconic structure of
         a chariot. This chariot is dedicated to Garuda the official
         vehicle of Lord Vishnu and has been carved from a single
         stone.







                                                            The Sasivekalu Temple is an open pavilion. With a large
                                                            statue of Lord Ganesha, carved from a single stone













                                                            The Elephant Stables, built in the Indo Islamic style, are
         Laxmi Narasimha Temple is the largest monolith statue of   one of the least destroyed structures in Hampi, During
         Hampi.  It is also known as the statue of Ugra Narasimha   the Vijaynagar Empire, the royal elephants were housed
