        Psychologists believe writing about grief can reduce pain. Research has found that putting
        down one’s thoughts about worries and concerns can help those looking for ways to cope
        with their grief.


        Writing about it can also help you come to terms with a whole lot of traumatic memories,
        painful emotions and assist you understand your trauma better. The fact is that certain
        memories and thoughts don’t go away on their own. In fact they never go away.

        A person learns to have a meaningful and ongoing relationship with their memory.


        While writing requires motivation, energy and dedication, it’s easy, less stressful and all
        one needs is a pen, paper, computer or your device keypad. You don’t have to talk to anyone
        about it.
