The Seniors Kitchen: Asparagus Rolls

Today we’re going to be sharing with you a recipe for an Asparagus Roll. It’s really easy and really tasty.

This short and delicious recipe is the perfect elevenses for your mid-morning or tea time snack.

 

Ingredients: 

Slices of bread

Water

Canned Asparagus

Salt

Tabasco

Pepper

Fresh Mustard

Butter

English Mustard

 

Method: 

First cut the sides of the bread.

Once you cut the sides nicely, dab some water on the bread

Once the bread is nicely dabbed, start rolling it with a rolling pin and make that bread flat.

Once your bread is nicely flat, apply some Butter, Fresh Mustard, English Mustard, some Fresh Pepper and Tabasco

Place Asparagus at the end of the bread, make sure the head is sticking out, now start rolling it tightly.
