14 Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas/ Blackmail, 1973
Music directors Kalyanji-Anandji come up with an all-time favourite, which one often hears at karaoke sessions these days. It’s also one of Kishore Kumar’s most appealing songs, and has been picturised on Dharmendra and Raakhee. Lyricist Rajendra Krishan produces marvellous lines like, “Main saans leta hoon, teri khushboo aati hai, ek mehka mehka sa, paigaam laati hai, mere dil ki dhadkan bhi, tere geet gaati hai”. Wow!
