Some of the best songs of the 1960s were picturised on Shammi Kapoor, and these included love songs and peppy fun numbers. ‘Ehsaan Tera Hoga’ has a sad-dish tune composed by Shankar-Jaikishen but Hasrat Jaipuri’s lyrics make a plea for love. Rafi’s expression while singing “Mujhe tumse mohabbat ho gayi hai” is inimitable.
