This recipe is delicious and not that difficult to make either.
Ingredients
Prawns clean and deveined
Coriander
Cut tomatoes
Finely chopped onion
Ginger Garlic paste
Red chili powder
Turmeric powder
Dhania powder
Jeera powder
Salt
Method
- In a large pan heat a half cup of oil. Once the oil is heated add the finely chopped onions, once the onion is translucent add one and half teaspoon ginger garlic paste and mix it well.
- Once the ginger garlic paste is nicely mixed add in your finely chopped tomatoes and give it a good stir.
- Now add one and half teaspoon salt or salt as per your taste, mix the salt well. Now add one and half teaspoon red chili powder, one and half teaspoon dhania powder, half teaspoon haldi powder, one and half teaspoon jeera powder, and give it a good mix, fry the masala till the oil is separated that’s when you know the masala is ready.
- Add curry leaves for a great flavour.
- If you see the oil has now separated from the masala it is now time to add in the prawns. You can use any prawns just make sure they are clean and deveined.
- Once you have added all the prawns in the masala add in some water. Cook the prawns until the entire water has dried up.
- Once the water has dried add in one cup chopped coriander and give it a good mix.And there you have it Goan Style Fried Prawns Masala.
