This is a typical Parsi sweet dish that is made on auspicious occasions like birthdays celebrations like weddings, Navjote, and especially on Parsi New Year.
Rava (Semolina) 250 Gm
Sugar 4 Tablespoon
Ghee 2 Tablespoon
Vanilla Essence One teaspoon
Milk 600 ml
Mix Nuts Chopped – Almond, Resin, pistachio, Charoli
Heat the ghee in a pan
Add Semolina and stir it and let it cook uniformly preventing any lumps formation
Add sugar and once properly mixed start adding milk
Once the mixture starts to thicken, switch off the stove
Before serving add one tablespoon of vanilla essence
For garnishing heat two tablespoons of ghee, and add chopped nuts till it gets a little crunchy and slightly golden brown. Ravo is ready to be served!
