Time to indulge in some delicious Bengali cuisine! Healthy and satisfying, this dish will add to the deliciousness quotient of any meal.
Ingredients:
Pomfret Fish
Green Chili
Olive Oil
Haldi
Half Lemon
Mustard Seeds
Salt – Sugar
Curd
Method:
- Clip the wings of Pomfret and clean it properly. Cut the Pomfret in small pieces.
- To marinate add one tablespoon Haldi Powder and one tablespoon Salt. Mix it properly and keep it marinating for 10 minutes.
- Now take Mustard seed and 3 Green chilies and add some water to grind it. Grind it properly.
- Take a bowl; add half bowl curd, one tablespoon Salt, one tablespoon Haldi, one tablespoon Olive Oil, one tablespoon sugar and Mustard paste now squeeze half lemon in it. Mix it properly. – Now take a steel container which has a tight lid. Put Pomfret Pieces in it properly and add the mixed ingredients and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Till then take a Large pan and add some water in it to boil, Let the water boil. – Now take the pomfret container which we had kept to marinate and place it in the pan, and cover the pan with a tight lid.
- Let it cook for a few minutes and there you have it, Bhapa Shorshe Pomfret Fish.
- Enjoy with some steaming hot rice!
