25 dried Kashmiri red chillies
250 grams jiggery
25 grams tamarind
12 cloves garlic (peeled)
2 teaspoons whole cumin
1 cup drinking water
Salt to taste
- Soak the red chillies overnight in water.
- The next morning, grind the soaked chillies in a food mixer till they are coarse.
- Chop the jaggery fine and add it to the chillies. Then add the tamarind, garlic, cumin and salt.
- Add the water and blend to a fine paste.
- Serve with snacks.
