Pair a fresh mix of local veggies with our delicious steamed fish recipe for a light and nutritious meal.
All you need is the fresh fish of your choice!
INGREDIENTSÂ
Fish
Grated coconut
3 wedges of lime
Finely chopped green chillies
Fresh coriander
Oil
A masala mix of – Black pepper, Red chilli powder, Haldi, Dhania powder
Salt
Method
DRY MASALAS
In a bowl add half teaspoon black pepper, half teaspoon Haldi, one teaspoon red chilli powder, half teaspoon dhania powder and salt to taste. One tablespoon oil and squeeze half a lime now mix this well
FOIL STEAMED FISH
Now coat each piece of fish in the dry masala make sure the fish is covered completely in the masala once all the pieces of fish are marinated in a piece of foil add the grated coconut fresh coriander, green chillies, and place the fish on top and repeat the process and add grated coconut, coriander and green chillies now wrap this up nice and tight.
Now put your pieces of fish into a steamer for about 5 minutes, remove after 5 minutes and there you have it.
Serve hot with a mixed salad or a medley of fresh veggies!
